What We Do

At Amena Mobile Clinic, our mission is to bring vital healthcare directly to families in Afghanistan who are living in extreme poverty and have little or no access to medical services. Through our mobile clinic, we deliver free medical care, health education, and essential medicines to communities in Kabul and Kunar that would otherwise be left behind. Thanks to your support, our team—including doctors, a nurse/midwife, and a pharmacist—reaches thousands of people each month with compassionate, high-quality care.

A Note From Our Founders

Together, we can become a light of compassion and hope amid the darkness of Afghanistan’s humanitarian crisis.

Amena Mobile Clinic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving vulnerable women and children in Afghanistan—where decades of war, extreme poverty, and ongoing instability have created a devastating healthcare emergency.

Founded in 2021 by a mother-daughter team, Amena Mobile Clinic was born out of heartbreak and hope after the pandemic. Named in honor of our beloved mother and grandmother Amena—meaning trustworthy—this mission reflects our unwavering belief that every human has the right to medicine and healthcare. We began with just a big heart—and now, we need your support to continue.

Each week, our mobile clinic travels to remote areas of Kabul, Afghanistan, bringing free, life-saving medical care to underserved families. The clinic is staffed by a dedicated team of two doctors, a nurse or midwife, and a pharmacist, and is fully equipped with essential medicines and supplies. Operating out of a mobile ambulance, the team reaches up to 150 patients a day, five days a week. That’s over 3,000 people every month—mothers, children, and the elderly—who would otherwise have no access to the care they desperately need.

Operating our mobile clinic costs just $4,000 a month—a small price for a truly life-changing impact. With a $200 monthly gift, you can sponsor an entire day of care, helping 150 patients receive the medical attention they urgently need. Each patient is treated for an average cost of just $1.50, making every dollar go incredibly far. Your support delivers not only medicine, but also dignity, compassion, and hope to those who need it most.

This is your chance to make a profound difference. To help a mother comfort her child. To give a sick baby life-saving medicine. To stand with Afghanistan in a time of great need. Let’s be the light they need. From our hearts to yours—thank you.

With gratitude,
Nafisa and Madina Entezar
