Monthly Project Report Amena Mobile Clinic for November 2025
This report presents the November 2025 activities and achievements of the Kabul Amena Mobile Clinic, operated by the Afghanistan Green Crescent Organization (AGCO). It provides an overview of healthcare services delivered to vulnerable communities, patient statistics, and key public health interventions conducted throughout the month. The report reflects AGCO’s continued commitment to providing accessible, equitable, and lifesaving primary healthcare to underserved and displaced populations across Kabul Province.
Narrative
The Kabul Amena Mobile Clinic continued its essential outreach services in November 2025, delivering comprehensive primary healthcare to vulnerable communities, internally displaced families, and informal settlement residents across multiple districts of Kabul Province. The program prioritizes women, children, and individuals with limited access to fixed health facilities. During November 2025, the clinic registered 3,080 beneficiaries and provided 4,386 clinical consultations. Of the total cases, 747 were male and 3,517 were female, including 401 children below age five and 3,592 adults.
The most frequently reported illnesses included respiratory infections (cough & cold, pneumonia), gastrointestinal disorders (acute watery/bloody diarrhea, peptic diseases), musculoskeletal conditions, hypertensive disorders, urinary tract infections, ENT problems, skin infections, anemia, and micro-nutrient deficiencies. Mental health cases and trauma- related conditions were also recorded. The clinic further delivered 240 maternal and reproductive health services, including antenatal and postnatal care, as well as family planning consultations such as contraceptive counseling, tablets, and injectable methods. These services supported safe pregnancy practices, maternal health awareness, and access to reproductive healthcare for women in remote settlements.
AGCO also continued its preventive health education efforts, focusing on hygiene promotion, nutrition awareness, and disease prevention messaging. Through consistent engagement with communities and collaboration with AIMA and Direct Relief for medicine support, the clinic strengthened early detection, treatment, and prevention of common communicable and non- communicable diseases in seasonal transition periods. The Kabul Amena Mobile Clinic remains a vital component of AGCO’s broader health outreach strategy, ensuring continuous access to quality medical care and public health education for displaced and underserved families living in Kabul’s urban and peri-urban areas.
