Monthly Report of AMENA Mobile Clinic (AMC) Activities in January and February
Amena Mobile Clinic (AMC) provides basic health services to selected villages in ten districts of Kabul province. Project sites are selected based on communities’ needs and distance from government clinics and hospitals.

AMENA Mobile Clinic team consists of one Medical Doctor (MD), one Midwife, one pharmacist and a driver. Moreover, AMC has one focal person in each selected location. Focal persons are from local communities and work voluntarily. The main responsibilities of focal persons are coordination between AMC team and community and preparation of sites for provisions of AMC services.

In January, after training sessions for staff, site visits started on 12th January. The team had a total of 15 days’ site visits, providing health services to selected locations according to the abovementioned timetable. A total of 1386 patients were screened and 1200 of them were treated by the AMC project in January 2021. The details of patients, diagnoses and treatments are as follow:

In February the team had a total of 19 days’ site visits, providing health services to selected locations according to the abovementioned timetable. A total of 1714 patients were screened and 1600 of them were treated by the AMC project in February 2021. The details of patients, diagnoses and treatments are as follow:
